Heidi Prescott is Senior Media Relations Strategist at Beacon Health System, where she leads patient storytelling across the 11-hospital system and external communications for the northern Indiana region. Before joining Beacon in 2015, she spent 25 years as a journalist spanning print, broadcast, magazines, radio and digital media. She has also taught journalism and earned a Master of Liberal Studies degree from Indiana University South Bend. In addition to cultivating strong local, regional and national media relationships, Heidi manages crisis communications and finds her greatest calling in writing stories that capture the heart of Beacon's patients and the caregivers who serve them.
